Welcome to the Unapologetic Man Podcast, the only podcast that's all about self-improvement, confidence, success, women, and being a man without making any apologies for it. What's up, guys? Thank you for tuning in to another episode of the UMP. I really do appreciate it. And today we are going to talk about how to still meet girls in person during COVID, or perhaps I named it how to still approach women in person during this quarantine. I'm getting a lot of clients saying, I can't meet girls. I don't know what to do.

And I'm like, are you kidding me? I'm talking to almost as many girls as I was before this damn thing happened. And frankly, there's a lot of benefits to it. I'm coming up with really good openers to say to these chicks, really interesting things to talk about. And we're going to get into that in this episode, how you can still practice, how you can still pull numbers, how you can be charming and charismatic and use this to your advantage. Because as men, we have to think about how we can benefit from all the situations that come to us.

There is no purely negative situation. There's always benefits to be had. And in this episode too, we are going to talk about those benefits. Before we jump into the content, I want to sincerely thank everybody who has left me a review, either on iTunes, even writing me an email, whatever, Stitcher, all the different podcast apps that you listen on. Guess how much that UMP grew in April? 800%. 800 fucking percent. And that's all because of you guys. I just appreciate it so much. I posted a ton of those reviews on my Instagram page.

If you're mildly curious, you could check it out. And I would appreciate actually if you followed me. It's Coach Mark Singh on Instagram. And also, if you give me a review on any platform, doesn't have to be iTunes, although that is certainly the one I prefer. If you give me a five-star review and actually say something like this is a great podcast or this podcast is slightly more interesting than watching paint dry. And I listen to it when I'm not partaking in my other favorite activity, staring at the wall and thinking about nothing.

But I do appreciate the reviews. If you leave me one, hit me up. CoachMarkSingh at gmail.com. I will reply and blow. I'll send you three awesome programs. The Conversation Sniper, Guide to the Female Orgasm, three texts that build massive attraction in women, as well as several videos, a smack on the ass, and your name tattooed on my neck. Oh, one more thing. I do offer one-on-one phone coaching. CoachMarkSingh.com. Check it out. Tons of reviews on there, too. Getting good results from my clients, man.

And, dude, the reason, by the way, I wanted to do this episode is because, I had a client hit me up. What's up, Scott? And he said, you know, how can I go open chicks during COVID? Like, what can I do? What kind of strategy should I use? Because I don't want to just sit around and make an excuse for myself. And I was like, bro, that is the right attitude. And that's where we're going to start with in the beginning of this podcast is your attitude.

Look, we are going to have bad luck. Bad things are going to happen. Shit is going to come very fast. Just two months ago, we were living a normal life. And now, like, society has been completely turned on its head. But you know what? There's advantages there. Some people are making a lot of money right now. Some guys are getting a lot of chicks right now. Why? Because they look at things as an opportunity. In crisis lies opportunity. So instead of wallowing and saying, oh, after the crisis is over, then I'll learn how to get girls.

Dude, fuck that. Now there's opportunities, better opportunities to meet girls than ever before. One of those opportunities is online. And that's why I did the online dating God series. If you haven't heard that, please go ahead and check that out. But another opportunity is straight up opening girls at the places that are still open. The supermarkets are open. Target is open. Walmart is open. Parks are still open. The beaches, I think. There's some controversy going on in California with the beaches. But bro, it's like you see people everywhere.

And you know what? Right now, they're actually more open to talk than sometimes they were before this happened. Why? It's because we're in a common struggle. And when you have common struggle with somebody, you have a commonality with them. So your mindset should be, look, there's an opportunity here. How can I leverage it to my advantage? Can you still meet girls? Hell yes. And another thing is, I went to the supermarkets today and I got into about 11 conversations. Look, I'm bummed that the bars are closed too.

You know, I miss it. Part of my favorite thing to do on Thursday nights and the weekends is to go infield and practice all the stuff that I teach you guys. But other than that, as well as the gym being closed, you know, it's really not that big of a deal. Now, you might be saying, but Mark, you know, you work from home anyway. This is what you did. And you're right. You know, I don't know the severity of your situation, but I guarantee you there is something positive that you can turn this into.

So that needs to be your mindset as the man is you say, look, I'm responsible for the way that I feel. I get the life that I choose. I get the happiness that I choose. In fact, the most important decision you ever make is whether to be happy or not. And yes, your happiness is a decision. So when situations like this come, your character is being tested, your integrity is being tested. Are you going to feel sorry for yourself? Are you going to pull yourself up by your bootstraps, get the job done and figure this out?

Okay. So with that framework in mind, let's look at some of the benefits of what this has done. So first and foremost, as I discussed, is we're all in a common struggle. When you have commonalities with a girl, for example, if you go to a university and she does too, boom, you got a great commonality there. It's easier to talk to that person. We as human beings have a tribal mindset, which means we like people who are like us and people who are suffering through the same thing that we are feel like us.

Okay, so there we have a commonality and by the way, lots of great stuff to talk about and I'm going to get into like what to say in a moment here, but right there is a commonality. Okay, number two, a lot of guys are insecure about talking to girls because they don't like the way they look. Well, look it, you get to wear a face mask right now. So you almost get to go incognito. When I was talking to girls today, I almost wanted to like tear off my face mask because I'm like this, you don't even like really know who I am.

And then it occurred to me, I'm like, wait, this is great for guys who are nervous. Because you get to hide kind of behind a mask. So you wear that mask and you can just take on a different identity if you want to. She really doesn't know much about you. And so there's a different viewpoint right there is just hide behind the mask. It's like guys who open girls in sunglasses. And oftentimes that's because they're feeling scared. But hey, if you want to wear sunglasses while you're day gaming, that's a good thing to do too.

You know, if you wear a mask and sunglasses, it's like you could be anybody and then you could just F around, just have fun with it. And if she rejects you, you could say, well, she didn't really know what I look like. Plus, if you got some jacked up teeth, now is your most optimal time to go approach girls. Number three is, and this is what I've been doing, is I've been having a lot of fun with it. So every time I go to the supermarket, I wear some kind of different outfit.

The other day I wore a cowboy hat and this like Jack Daniels bandana. You can see that picture on my Instagram page. Then a couple weeks ago or whatever, I wore like a ninja outfit and it sucked because I actually had a full ninja outfit and I just got rid of it literally like six months ago from Japan, dude. I had a ninja outfit with the Tobi shoes. They're like the kind of shoes that the ninjas wear. I still have those, but I got rid of like the uniform and the hood and stuff.

But I kind of made my own ninja outfit and then that was part of my opener. So you can dress up in like crazy ways. Like my friend, he rides a motorcycle and he just like walked into the supermarket wearing his helmet and his goggles and there's all kinds of crazy shit you could do. I have a real Spartan helmet, a real bronze Spartan helmet was kind of thinking about rocking that and just being crazy with it, just having fun with it. You see on Facebook and Instagram people wearing like scuba gear and like putting trash bags over their head and like, I don't know, you know, I don't think this is something to be made fun of because important people are dying and it is serious.

But at the same time, if you can have a degree of levity to those bad things that happen in your life, it shows a lot of strength to women. So when I dressed up as the cowboy, I had the cowboy hat on and then the Jack Daniels bandana like up around my nose. So I look like a bandito, like a train robber or something. Well, you know how they have those banks that are inside the supermarkets? Well, there was this really cute girl working at one of those like banks and I went up to her and I happen to be a member of Wells Fargo.

So I went up and just asked some bullshit question. But I said to her, I was like, you know, I never thought that I would go up to a bank teller wearing a mask and gloves because I had gloves on too. And she totally cracked up. And then I was like joking with her. I was like, ma'am, give me, give me everything you got. Right. And I could have said like, ma'am, unless you give me your phone number, I'm afraid this is going to be a robbery.

Right. I could have like had a lot of fun with it, you know, and these masks that people are wearing, a lot of them are really creative. A lot of them are really funny looking. And there's always openers that you could say about that, which we're going to get into in a second. Another benefit is if you get rejected, you can just blame it on COVID, right? Just be like, well, she was afraid of COVID and you know, it wasn't my fault. It was just my approach.

People don't want to talk right now. So you can almost like make an excuse for your own failure. And really it's true. Like if you get rejected, it's not you, it's your approach. So there's another thing in the back of your head. You get to hide, you get things to talk about. Everyone's in the similar boat. And then if you get rejected or it doesn't go well, then you can blame it on COVID and going on that point, she might be nervous because of COVID. And I've found that actually helps me a lot because as we've discussed that length and frame control, if you can be more at ease and relaxed and be just cool with her, and she's a little bit nervous to talk to you because of whatever, you're a confident guy or she's afraid of COVID or whatever it happens to be.

And you could just show the frame and control the frame. She's going to get that much more attracted to you. So when I've been going out and having conversations, I've been having really good success, man. I get in chicks cracking up for sure. Could have gotten some phone numbers if I wanted to. So this is really, really a good opportunity. Okay, let's move on to part two here. And that's kind of how to open, what to say, what to do. Now, depending on where you're at in your development, what I suggest, and I talked about this in a previous podcast, how to open girls without rejection, I think it was called.

But what I talk about is opening and aborting. So you don't have to open her and get the phone number. You can just open her and then abort, which means say something and then leave. So we have to keep that in mind while we're going to do this stuff. And I want you guys to make this a part of your errands, right? So if you're going to the supermarket, if you're going to Walmart or Target or wherever you're going, there's more places opening up to, I've noticed.

Just be talkative, right? Talk to people. Even guys, workers, like if you're really afraid, you can talk to the chick who works at supermarket. Hey, where is this, that, and the third? And then she tells you where it is. Okay, cool. Thank you very much. I did that today too. I talked to some chick and I was like, hey, where's this, that, and the other? She told me where it was. Very simple. It gets you warmed up. And then by the end of it, oh, dude, there was a really cute checkout girl who was like bagging.

And what I did is called staging. So staging is you want the cute girl to overhear you being charismatic to somebody else. I call that staging. So what I did is the lady who was like checking out people, I was standing there looking at like some grapes or whatever. And I hear her say, I'm available to take the next person. And she kind of happened to look at me. And so I was like, okay. And so I walked over there and I was like, damn, like I wasn't even finished shopping yet.

And just the authority and your voice made me come over here. I was like, that's pretty good job. Pretty solid work there. And she was laughing. And then I was joking with her. And then as that was happening, the cute girl was listening to that. Well, that staging is you're showing your charisma to the cute girl. And then once the cute girl was seeing my charisma, then I opened her up. I like read her name tag. I was like, what's up, Chelsea? How's your night going tonight?

She's like, good. And I'm like, how's your quarantine game holding up? You are withstanding this whole thing? And she's like, yeah, it's okay. I still have to work. And I was like, yeah, you know, you too. I really respect you guys because you're the really the heroes in our society. The supermarket workers, the essential workers. Because, you know, I mean, you're kind of taking a risk doing this. And I really appreciate it. And both of them were like, wow, thank you so much. And that was it.

Like I didn't get like massive attraction. She's like jumping all over me. But I probably did get a little bit of attraction. And this is another strategy too. Obviously, I have a girlfriend, so I wouldn't be able to dip into that. But if I were to, I'd go back again and do a similar thing. And I do what I call multiple touches. So you don't have to close it all in the first time when it's a girl that you're going to see again a different time.

And so if I were there again, I'd choose the line that she's in, drop some more charisma, say something else that's funny, and then leave. And then the next time, maybe talk to her a little bit more and then leave. And then maybe I see her stocking fruit. And then I chat with her for a few extra minutes and then leave. So that's what I call multiple touches. I'm going to get into that more. I want to do a podcast on how to pull girls from work, how to pull girls from like, you know, who work at the grocery store or like at the dry cleaner.

I remember I did that once I pulled this really cute girl, worked at a dry cleaner, and I want to explain how to do that. But the first strategy is multiple touches. You don't just do it all in one go. You build it up over time, like the chick at Starbucks and stuff too, which I've done too. So we'll talk about that. But with COVID, it's no different. The only difference is you're wearing masks. So one of the openers that I often use in supermarkets is, hey, hey, where'd you get that olive oil?

Or where'd you get that? You know, what is that thing? Is that a gourd right there? So I'll point out something in their cart, ask them where they got it, or I'll question it. And I'll be like, what the hell is that thing? What do you cook with that thing? So I'll find something interesting about them, typically in their cart, ask them where they got it, and then get into a little conversation. So I could be like, hey, I noticed you have olive oil right there.

Where'd you get that? And she'll be like, oh, it's like two aisles over there. I'll be like, cool. So listen, I want to be honest with you. I don't have the coronavirus, but I do have the Coors Light virus. Although I hear it's very benign. And then she might crack up a little bit and I'll be like, so do you have the coronavirus? And she's like, I don't think so. I'll be like, so how have you been handling this thing? How are you doing? And she'll be like, oh, I'm doing okay.

You know, I'm just in school and, you know, they're doing classes on Zoom. And I'm like, oh, so what are you studying? Right? And right there, we're in a conversation. So what I do is I use COVID as an excuse, as a leverage point to open and start conversations. Hey, how are you handling this whole thing? Hey, your mask game is pretty on point. I said to this lady once, and it was a total mistake, but I was like, you know, you have a smile that's made for a mask.

And what I meant is, is that she could really smile well with her eyes. I didn't mean to insult her, but it was like an insult. And I was like, that's kind of a cool neg, which is like a negative compliment. And she was like, what? And I was like, no, no, no. That's not what I meant. I meant you smile very well with your eyes is what I meant to say. And she's like, oh, thank you. She's like, I thought you meant that I had a jacked up smile and I should cover it with a mask.

And I was like, that's not what I meant. But come to think of it, that's a pretty decent thing to say. And then you can pivot it into what you really meant. And that right there is a good conversational piece. So in a previous podcast, I talked about the three-step process to ask a woman what she does and then tell her what you do. So if a girl asks you what you do, there's this three-step process. That process is first you say something ridiculous and funny.

Then you say the real thing and then you tell a story about what it is that you do. So in my case, I say that I'm a famous ass model. Then I make some jokes about that. Then I tell her, no, I'm an NLP coach. Do you know what NLP is? Then I tell her the story about how I was in Japan, had panic attacks, had an NLP coach help me get over my anxiety and now I'm a coach. And then I do the same thing to her.

So what do you do? Let me guess. You're an ice cream man. She says, no, ha ha ha. And I'd make some jokes about that. You can listen to that podcast. It's like the three-step process to engage in conversations. Honestly, bro, you should probably listen to all my podcasts because I do try to drop a lot of gold on this show. So on that podcast, we'll talk about that three-step process. Well, that's what you can do here too. There's no difference. The only difference is we're using COVID.

And that, in my opinion, that's an extra arrow in your quiver, right? It just makes it easier. Okay, what am I going to fucking talk to her about? What the hell do you think? We're all going through the same thing. So many guys have excuses like, I don't know what to say. My mind goes blank. Well, bro, just think of shit. Okay. I don't have COVID, but I do have the Coors Light virus. How's my mask game? Do I look like a ninja? Anybody who's running from the law, this is like the ideal time to break out of jail because you can wear a mask and sunglasses and nobody will question you.

I saw a friend at the supermarket the other day and I really didn't want to talk to him. So I didn't have to because he didn't recognize me because I had a mask on. Just imagine if we time traveled from three months ago to today. Just imagine what we'd be thinking. We would think we were crazy. I saw this thing on Facebook that said, what we thought the apocalypse would look like. It showed this guy walking, holding a shotgun, and then it says what the apocalypse really looks like.

And then it showed a character from South Park and he was sitting on the couch in his underwear eating a bunch of Doritos and playing video games. It was so funny, dude, because that's totally how this has turned out to be. I might say something like I said to that girl. I was like, how's your quarantine game going? How are you doing? Holding up? And she's like, yeah, I'm doing pretty good. I'm like, have you figured out how to make the refrigerator or remote control car where it comes over to you and then you can just grab a drink out of it anytime you want without leaving the couch?

She might crack up with that. I've also talked about the phenomenon of seeing people wearing masks in their car. Have you guys seen this? It's like, why? I don't get why you'd wear a mask in your car. Could COVID really be breathed out in another car, fly out of the ventilation system, come in through your car's ventilation system, pass the air filter, get blown out of your AC, and then get you sick? So you see it all the time, man. Just pay attention to people in their cars.

You see this all the time. So really, guys, ultimately, the whole excuse of I'm going to wait till after COVID to talk to people is total bullshit. There is a way to leverage this. I've been doing it. My clients have been doing it. Guarantee I could have gotten at least a few phone numbers today, got into probably about 11 conversations with girls and probably like over 20 with everybody. I just fucking talk to everybody. If I see you in the supermarket, I'm saying something. Hey, nice watch. Hey, where's the olive oil?

Hey, do you mind if I take one banana from here or are you going to slap my hand like a school teacher? Right? To the hired help. I'm always chatting with people. It's just how you have to be to get practice. So you can practice getting better with women. And look, if you're scared to do it, then good. It's more social pressure for you to endure. And as we've talked about extensively on this podcast, the more social pressure you endure, the more you get better at enduring social pressure so that when you talk to that hot girl, you're not going to be affected by her hotness.

You're going to be at ease. You're going to be calm. Hey, you were opening people during COVID. If it's framed in your mind that way, that it's difficult, well, what could be harder than that? Then you can wear it as a badge on your sleeve. And if you have to make the excuse of, well, you know, it's COVID. That's why she rejected me. Fine. I'm cool with that. If you have to make the excuse of, well, they don't know who I am, fine. That's cool. Whatever you have to do to get yourself moving, but don't fall into the trap of what so many other people are doing, which is making excuses for the lack of their development.

You know, people have been practicing for COVID for generations, sitting on the couch, eating bad food, watching TV, being lazy and unmotivated. And it's very easy to get sucked into that trap of complacency and not get off off your butt and get what needs to be done, done. And that means getting better with women. So even if you're thinking about coaching, like sometimes I'll have clients say, you know, I want to wait till after COVID is done to get coaching. Like I have clients sign up and then want to wait.

I really disagree with that. Now, if that's what you want to do, bro, like that's fine. I'm not going to try to piss in your river or throw my leg up on a branch and take a big old shit in your river. I don't want to like hurt your feelings if you're listening to this and you're one of the guys that did that. But honestly, I don't agree with it. I think you should get coaching now because when this shit opens up, you're going to be that much better.

And there's no better time than now to get something done. Like the old Zen saying goes, if not now, when? When are you going to do it? Because if you're making excuses now, you're going to make excuses in the future because you're laying a foundation of excuses for yourself. You're showing your subconscious mind that it's okay to make excuses. Yeah, but this is no, no, no, no. I don't care if that's happening. Guys who go to jail who like to lift weights, you know what they do?

They fill up trash bags with water and they do curls with that. So you can't work out because of COVID? Bullshit. It's just an excuse. There's always something you can do. And if you guys are listening to this, I know you want to get better with women. At least the majority of you do, especially if you're listening to this episode. So do it. Study pick up. You don't have to hire me, but study pick up. Go out and talk to girls. Keep going. Keep practicing because life is short.

And before you know it, you're going to be an old man with an ugly wife. And you're going to be like, dude, why didn't I have the fucking courage to step to the plate when I had the opportunity? Right now is a great opportunity to experiment in lots of ways. All the social rules have been turned over on their head. So let's fuck with it. Let's dress like a ninja. Let's dress like a cowboy. Make jokes about it. Have fun with it. Bring girls into that.

Show them a good time. Another benefit that I forgot to mention is girls are super lonely right now. They're bored. They're lonely. They want entertainment. So when you come up to them as a sexy cowboy, you know, wearing a Jack Daniels bandana over your face, she's going to be cracked up by that. And that did crack girls up. So I just wanted to give you a little pep talk because right now we're entering typically about seven weeks, I think it is, for most people of being in lockdown.

And there's lots of griping and lamenting and negativity going on on the social media channels. Dude, fuck that. You have the power to turn that around and it's your responsibility to do so as a man. So step to the plate. Get it done. Get out there. Start talking to chicks. They're not going to slap you in the face. I haven't received one goddamn rejection. The only thing different I notice is a slight trepidation. But once again, good. Because as long as I show that I'm unaffected by it, it makes her even more attracted to me.

And she gets unaffected by it too within like five seconds. All right. So that's my rant on that. I hope it benefited you guys. I want to see you guys get out there. If you've been thinking about getting coaching, thinking about getting this part of your life settled once and for all, I do offer one-on-one phone coaching. I have clients from all over the world. So don't let COVID stop you. Don't let your hesitation stop you. If this is what you really want to get better with women, I can help you get there, even if it means dragging your ass over the finish line, kicking and screaming.

So thank you again, guys, for listening. I do appreciate every single one of you. I know your time is valuable and I try not to waste it. If you have any ideas about things you want me to talk about, feel free to email me, coachmarksingh at gmail.com. Or even if you have questions about coaching, you can email me there too. Or bro, even if you want some content, just be like, hey, I'm really interested in the conversation sniper. Haven't had a chance to leave a review yet because I can't find out where to do it.

Hey, that's cool. I'll blast that to you. I just appreciate every one of you for listening. So thanks again, and I will see all of you in the next podcast.
