Welcome to the Unapologetic Man Podcast, the only podcast that's all about self-improvement, confidence, success, women, and being a man without making any apologies for it. What is up, guys? Thank you for tuning in to another episode of the UMP. I really do appreciate you joining me today. For those of you who have been listening for a long time, you know what to do. That's right. Smack yourself on the ass. You are a champion. For those of you who are new to the show, welcome. What I try to do is give the best information in the most succinct way possible, and we are going to do that today by discussing five ways to get rich.

Now, this is a podcast episode that I've been thinking about doing for quite some time now, but have procrastinated on it, admittedly, because I've been struggling as to whether or not I am an authority enough to give you guys this kind of information. So I decided to give you guys full disclosure on my own financial situation. And am I rich? Okay, so first of all, what is rich? I personally feel that rich is a millionaire. So if you have a million net worth, then I guess you can be considered rich, right?

So with those parameters in place, am I a millionaire yet? No. And notice how I say yet, because that's my mentality. I am definitely on my way. And if you have to know, I will be there in about two to three years is my current trajectory. So with that being said, I do feel that I can speak on this with some authority. It's kind of hard to determine whether or not you can in these kinds of situations. But I concluded that the more important thing is, was I able to increase my income exponentially over the last few years?

The answer to that is definitely yes. Then I asked myself, why was I able to have such a radical increase in my income, even when things didn't change that much as far as my coaching business? Yeah, this podcast got bigger, but why was it that I was able to do this? And certain things revealed themselves to me, which I want to share with you guys today. So while I'm definitely no Rockefeller or T Harv Ecker or somebody who has multiple millions in the bank, I still think I can give you advice from my own experience because I've been able to not only get out of debt, but radically increase my net worth by the principles I'm going to share with you today.

So some of you obviously make more money than I do. And if that's the case, then don't take my advice. If you don't feel like you could get something from somebody who isn't as financially successful as you are, whereas a lot of you other guys are still struggling financially. And these are some of the lessons that I've learned and I'm going to continue learning right now. As some of you know, I am really into money, getting my financial house in order as it were. So I'm passionate about this and I want to share what I feel are five of many.

This isn't a definitive, the only five you need. There's definitely more than this, but this is just my own experience. This is what I found has radically, I'm talking exponentially, like each month, it just keeps going up and up and up, increase my income. And this has been a real game changer for me. So I hope this information can help you gentlemen as well. All right. So the first thing that I found in my own experience to radically increase my income, radically increase my net worth is work ethic, work ethic.

OK, so I just personally don't believe that you can be lazy and make your way to riches. I just don't believe it. And work ethic is something that I believe is given to us by our parents. Oftentimes we see how hard they work and we want to emulate that. We feel that working hard is something that's admired and we feel that actually working hard makes you healthier. And that was a big issue for me is I had belief systems that working hard and stressing, quote unquote, would age me, would make me sick, would make me unhealthy.

And I always had a lot of resistance to becoming financially successful because I felt that financial success equaled bad health. I felt that financial success equaled lines on the face and stress in my daily life, not being able to sleep and basically being miserable. And that was programming that was actually given to me by my brother, my older brother. And a lot of our programming is given to us by siblings, but more specifically parents. So I'm not sure if my dad and my mom had this, although I think my mom kind of did.

But my brother, bro, big time, big time has this. And, you know, I love the guy to death, but he still hasn't dealt with that own issue inside his own head. And he believes that, you know, getting lots of money is actually takes away your freedom, makes you sickly, makes you unhealthy. And the way I reframed it via NLP, which as a lot of, you know, I do neuro linguistic programming, I'm an NLP coach. And that NLP is part of my three month coaching program where I teach guys how to attract women.

And also, by the way, money is a big part of that coaching is how to make more money. Because if you don't believe you're enough with women, well, dude, you're not going to believe you're enough with money either. So you're going to struggle with money and you're going to struggle with women. You're going to struggle with getting that success. So when I came to the conclusion that this belief was bullshit, it was an illusion given to me by my brother and probably other things as well, maybe even my dad and my mom.

Well, when I removed that belief that, in fact, when you work hard, actually what happens is you're healthier. Because the human body is designed to work hard. It's designed for a certain level of stress. Now, certainly there's unhealthy stress, which usually comes from too much thinking. Thinking creates suffering, as the Zen Buddhists say. When you're thinking about too much future, thinking about too much past dwelling on what could go wrong, then that's the kind of stress that isn't good. But there's a very good kind of stress that comes from having a serious intentional work ethic.

That's the stress of accomplishment, the stress of striving, the stress of putting pressure on yourself. So when I changed my outlook on work ethic, when I realized, dude, you need to work hard in order to not only get the monetary success you want, but the body you want, the girls you want, the communication skills that you want, all the things you want. It takes hard work. And now that I've removed that belief system, and I really believe that working hard, some stress is good, I work really hard, man.

I mean, you know, I work 12 hours a day, but it's not by force. It's not by struggling. It's not by like grit and determination, really. I'm in the flow. I want to work. In fact, there's a big part of me that has to prevent myself from working sometimes. It's like today, I'm going to be honest with you, today's Saturday, and it's a beautiful day out. I just want to do this podcast, man. That's all I want to do. I just want to work. And while I'm going to go enjoy that day with my family, my daughter's currently sleeping.

She's taking her nap, which is a great opportunity for me to knock out a bunch of podcasts. Well, after I indulge in work, and I literally consider it indulging, after I indulge in that work, then I'm going to indulge in the freedom that comes from working hard and go enjoy the day with my family. So when you have a strong work ethic, you get shit done, you knock shit out, you're inspired, you have enthusiasm, which the original Greek translation of enthusiasm means to be possessed by a god.

When you have that behind you, it's like a wind pushing you, and you just get shit done, man. You just knock shit out. Like, I'm so much more efficient than I ever used to be. Why wasn't I efficient? It's because I was struggling against this belief that being efficient, working hard was compromising my health. And so I would always have one foot on the gas, one foot on the brake. And what happens when you have one foot on the gas, one foot on the brake? It seizes up your system.

It fucks up your vehicle, right? And you can't get there. But when you realize, like, dude, I'm in the flow, it doesn't feel like I have to push. It feels like I'm being pushed. It's like I'm being pushed by spirit, by God, if you will. Then you have a strong work ethic, you get shit done, and then consequently, you make more money. All right, number two. And again, guys, this is my experience. This isn't written in stone. There's lots of other ones that could come from this.

But number two, I just believe so wholeheartedly that communication and persuasion skills are absolutely necessary to become rich. You have to communicate well. You have to communicate well. Why? Because what is riches? Riches comes from other people. They say your net worth comes from your network. Your net worth comes from your network. And what is network? It's other people. Being able to speak to people, being able to be persuasive, so important to get people to give you their money, right? Because ultimately, people are giving you the money, whether it's through your job, whether it's through investments.

You have to put yourself in situations where you're dealing with other people so that you can get that income. And for me, my communication skills that have developed out of mostly speaking to women, I'm going to be honest with you, but also doing podcasts like this one, taking public speaking courses and all the things I've done to become a great communicator has absolutely had an influence on my bottom line. On my net worth. Because when I do this podcast, people feel like, okay, this guy's like a big brother.

I feel like I relate to this dude. I feel like I could probably sit around a campfire with this guy, and he's like my bro. And then when I get on the phone with them, they feel my passion. They feel my enthusiasm, and I make a lot of sales when people come into my coaching program. Why do I make a lot of sales? Like I have a really high conversion rate, and I'm not trying to brag. It's just because I believe in it, bro. And I really want to help you guys.

And my dudes can feel that from me. Like I'm like, bro, I want to help you. Let me help you. And I'm super fucking genuine. I don't see my guys as a number. I don't see them as income. I see them as an individual human being. Me. I see myself in you guys. I literally see myself in you guys as I was struggling when I was younger. And I look at you, and I understand you, and my guys can feel that from me. And what I do is really fucking effective.

It's really effective. So all my guys get results. They tell other guys I get referrals. It's like, dude, I have more guys who want to work with me than I have room for sometimes. Like the stuff I do really works, but it's because I communicate it well, and it's because I'm persuasive. And it's like I don't even need to use the five elements of being a great closer. This is my secret. I fucking believe in it, and I believe in myself, and I believe I want to help you, and I believe in you when I invite you to the coaching program, I see you how you could be, not how you are.

I see you in your best state, not how you are, and I'm good at communicating that. And because I'm good at communicating, because I'm passionate, I'm persuasive, and being persuasive, being a good negotiator, being able to put yourself in those situations socially where you can convince people of things, in my opinion, is absolutely necessary to make your net worth go up. One of the best things I ever did was I was a copywriter for a number of years. Now, copywriting is sales writing. It's basically writing sales messages, either via letters, on websites, that kind of way, like ads, that's copywriting.

I know how to write in a way that convinces people to do things. So in learning copywriting, I was able to learn what persuades people. How do you get people to do things? Well, a couple rules are, you need to exacerbate and point out the struggle that they're going through. You need to make them feel like they're understood. When somebody reads a sales page, they should be saying, yes, that's me. Yes, he understands me. They should be saying, that's right. That's right. You understand me. And the only way to be able to do that, to understand a prospect, to understand someone you're going to make money from, and even to understand women, is to become a really good communicator.

And becoming a communicator, becoming persuasive, means working on those elements, means being able to put yourself in their shoes, being able to understand what they're going through, empathize with it, and then you're the solution. Or like me, my coaching offers the solution. So it's highly attractive. People want to join. There's scarcity in place because I'm in high demand. I have tons of social proof. I'm able to communicate. I'm able to persuade. And therefore, my income goes up. All right. Now, number three, I want to preface this by telling you guys that the vast majority of podcast listeners, they've done studies on this, and this probably includes you, are of a higher intelligence.

The vast majority of you guys, I think it was 80 plus percent, are over average intelligence. It's just the way intelligent people like to consume information. And I'll tell you, nobody who is, I guess for lack of a better word to say this, stupid would probably be listening by now. Wouldn't you agree? So if you're still listening, you probably have a superior level of intelligence. And in my opinion, number three is being intelligent. You have to see things that people don't see. You have to see opportunities that people don't recognize.

You have to be able to be resourceful. Think outside the box. Put together different sales elements, different marketing elements. Be able to understand business. Be able to understand numbers. Be able to understand lots of different things about your business. About your finances, about networking with people, being a good communicator, being persuasive. You have to be smart enough to know that you need to reprogram the mechanism in order to make yourself as efficient as possible to be able to get that kind of money. So I just feel, you know, I may be wrong.

I'm sure there's some less than intelligent people that have succeeded in business and who have become, you know, wealthy. But I do think it takes an accelerated level of intelligence to reach financial freedom. I really do. I see it time and time again with the people who I meet who are financially successful. They're always like, they're pretty sharp. And you guys are sharp too because you're listening to this. So don't feel that this precludes you if you've deemed yourself less than intelligent. I can almost guarantee you if you're listening to this, considering it, taking it on board, you are intelligent enough.

And I think it's guys like you and me who are typically able, typically, not always, but typically able to get financial success. All right, number four, and I think this might be the most important one, is your programming about money, your belief systems about money, your meta programs about money, your schemas, your archetypes, those things that were given to you before you could defend yourself from them. The fact that your dad thinks money is hard to get and he thinks money creates stress. The fact that your mom thinks that money is the root of all evil or people who are rich are filthy rich.

Look at that word, filthy rich. Or that money is a sin. Having too much of it means it takes from others. When in fact, it's the exact opposite, that when you get more money, you get more money to put into the economy. If you buy something from me for $5 and then I buy something from the next guy for $5 and then he buys that same thing with the same money and then he uses that same money to buy something from another guy for $5, look what that $5 just did.

It went through four different people, therefore exponentially increasing the wealth of all of us. So your duty is to become rich. And even if you're religious and you've had some beliefs about how riches make you evil, you do not help poor people by becoming one of them, right? You help poor people by making shit tons of money and being able to donate to those poor people. I'll tell you, now that I'm making a lot more money than I ever have before, I'm able to help out those people that have less.

Every month I donate to St. Jude. This month I'm actually going to donate to this Lakota Indian fund that helps the Lakota Indian tribe down in South Dakota because I've been really enjoying some of their culture, been listening to them and I know they really struggle on the reservations. So I'm going to give them a shit ton of money this month because I had a record month and I'm going to give them some of that money so I can help them out and that helps out society.

So it's your duty to become rich. When you have programming inside your head that has all these belief systems, money is hard to get, you have to stress to get money, money is scarce, and instead you reprogram it with beliefs that there's plenty of money, they're making it all the time, it literally goes on trees, money is good, money equals freedom, money comes quickly and easily, and I can help society and become that which I was meant to be even more so when I have money.

When you have that reprogramming, I'm telling you, it's the law of attraction, man. It makes all the difference. When I got all that bullshit solved, it was like a switch that turned on. It was like a switch that turned on where money just started coming in. It came quickly and easily. Everybody's trying to give me money. Every time I turn around, there's some check coming in. There's some payment coming in. PayPal, Stripe, money getting direct deposited in my bank account. It just comes from everywhere, and I feel like a money magnet, and then when you feel like a money magnet, it even compounds on itself.

You become that money magnet, and it all starts with your belief systems. So be downright honest with yourself. What belief systems do you have about money? There's not enough. Money equals stress. Money is bad. It's hard to get. When you have those belief systems, you're literally on an energetic level pushing it away from yourself, pushing it away from yourself. I need more money. I need more money. Universe says, yep, you need more money, and then you stay in that state. But when you reprogram the belief systems, there's plenty of it.

It's everywhere. It's on you right now in the form of the shoes you're wearing, the clothes you're wearing. The cell phone you're listening to this on, there's literally gold inside your cell phone. There's money all around you. When you believe that, you start to attract it. So having the correct belief systems about money is absolutely essential, in my opinion, to get rich. I stand by that 100%. Pretty much, I don't think anybody could talk me out of that. You have to think correctly about money in order to get it.

So if you're stuck and you're not making much, it's probably because of your belief systems. Now, I know there's a lot of young bucks listening to this, and this just may be your current situation, which you'll grow out of soon enough, but take that on board. When you reprogram it, you get to attract it. And one of the things I do, as I said in my coaching, is I reprogram your brain, not only about women, but also about money. It's extremely effective. All right, and my final point is step five, having a strong why, W-H-Y.

Why do you want to become rich? Why do you want to get money? Why are you doing what you're doing in your business? I'll tell you, when you have a strong why, especially you entrepreneurs out there, but even those who are working for somebody else, when you have a strong why as to why you're doing what you're doing, A of all, and B of all, why you want to become wealthy, the universe will conspire to help you in ways that you never dreamed possible. Once again, it's like having that wind at your back.

You have a strong purpose. You have a strong reason. You understand completely why it is you want your business to succeed, why it is you want to make as much money as possible. When you have that why behind you, I'll tell you, man, the universe conspires. It really does. Me, for example, I know my why. It's to help champions like you become the best versions of yourself you possibly can be, to get you back to your natural self-esteem, to make all of you millionaires, to make all of you girl magnets.

Because the more girl magnets we have, the more millionaires we have, the better life gets, the better the world gets. Your success helps me. And that's also why I'm such a good coach is because I feel personally invested in your stock. When your stock goes up, my stock goes up because I'm the dude who coached you. When your fire grows brighter, my fire grows brighter. You get success, I get success. A lot of coaches don't think that. You're just a number on a spreadsheet. Can I get money from this guy?

No. I'm like, can I get success for this guy? Because I know his success energetically influences my success. And my why is to help you. That's my purpose here. That's why I'm dropping three podcasts a week. That's why I'm spending my Saturday afternoon recording these. When I could be out in nature or doing something else, I want to do this because I have a strong, passionate why driving me. The reason I want to be rich is so that I can have freedom and enjoy life and help other people.

Because once again, you don't help poor people by becoming one of them. You help the world by becoming rich. So you can spread that love and help people out. And I want to help other people get rich. And I want to have a great life for my daughter. And I want to experience all the things I can in this life. Have freedom to just pick up and go to Greece and go visit Sparta and go to all these amazing trainings where you have to spend like $20,000 just to get trained.

I want to be able to invest in that. Become the best glowing light in this world that I possibly can be. I believe that I'm a light worker. That's a spiritual term for somebody who is here to increase the light, to spread the love and teach people what they can really do with the potential they were given by. If you can forgive the word God, source energy, whatever it is you believe in. That's my purpose here. I have a super strong fucking why. And because of that, I get financial success.

If you don't have a why, don't stress. It will come to you. And I want to ask yourself, what would I do if I had no chance of failure? That's a great way to discover your why. What would I do if I had zero chance of failure? If I could do this thing, what would it be? Right there is your why. Now your job, using the intelligence you have, which I spoke about in step three, is to figure out how you can do that. Now, is it always easy?

No. I struggled for years to get to this level as a dating coach. I personally believe I had to struggle so that I can relate to my students who themselves are struggling right now. But you don't always have to struggle the way I did to get to your why. You can get it just as quick as that by reprogramming your brain, by believing what you're doing is positive, by knowing that when you attract more money, you attract more ability to help others. And it's your duty as a human being to become rich, abundant.

Nature is abundant. The oak tree doesn't reach six feet and to say, okay, I'm done. This is good enough. No, it's in your nature to keep expanding. And that includes making more money. So when you have a good why about your financial success, then it allows that energy to blossom naturally and you get more and more financial success. So these have been the five biggest epiphanies for me in my own ramp up to financial freedom. And as they say, the first million is always the hardest to make.

After that, it gets a whole hell of a lot easier. So in a couple of years, I'm going to hit my net worth of a million. And then I'm just going to keep stacking and doubling it and tripling it and making more and more and more, not for greedy reasons, but because I want to help. Then I can donate more to charity. Then I can do more things for my family. And I can even be a better coach to you guys and a better mentor to all of you because I'll have more experience.

I'll have more coaching myself. I'll be able to go invest in, you know, $50,000 coaching programs where I become even more enlightened, a better speaker, a better communicator, just better in every sense of the word because that's my duty to my creator. I want to end this life and look back on my deathbed and be like, yeah, man, I fucking crushed it. I got girls. I got money. I got success. I got everything. And the reason I did it is because I had the courage to invest in myself that very first time that I invested in a coach.

And I know a lot of you guys are procrastinating. You're like, oh, I don't, I don't know, man. It's probably expensive to work with Mark. It's, it's probably going to be really hard. And you're procrastinating and not letting yourself do it because you're afraid. How far has fear gotten you in this world? How far has fear gotten anybody? No, those who succeed, those who become who they're truly meant to become act despite being in fear. That's called courage. So I tell you, man, when you invest in yourself, when you put in place these five principles, work ethic, communication and persuasion skills, intelligence, programming about money and having a strong why, you can leverage all those things by getting coaching.

I cannot suggest enough. So if you're interested, what I do is I teach guys how to become irresistibly attractive, attractive to women while at the same time, reprogramming in the brain about their own self-worth, about their own thoughts about money. If you're interested in that, sign up by clicking in the link below or going to coachmarksing.com, click on coaching, fill out the goddamn slap on the biscuit. You and I will get on that call together and see what I can do to help you out to become a millionaire in this lifetime, because that's your duty.

All right, gentlemen, thank you so much for listening. I do appreciate it. And I will see you in the next episode. We'll see you in the next episode.
